Activities honor those who have served our country

Write a letter to U.S. servicemen and women overseas, get your face painted in patriotic colors and pick up a creation by a balloon artist as you enjoy the music of the Pacific Fleet Brass Quintet on Saturday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s all part of Kapolei Shopping Center’s Memorial Day activities to honor those who have served – and continue to serve – our country.

Participating Kapolei Shopping Center merchants will distribute mini U.S. flags to shoppers, while supplies last. Some restrictions or minimum purchase may apply. Look for Memorial Day weekend specials, too.

Kapolei Shopping Center celebrated the spring season with a free community event on Saturday, April 7. Kapolei families enjoyed visiting the petting zoo, feeding butterflies in Dancetta’s Butterfly House, taking photos with Keoki Cottontail, and making a take-home craft, among other activities.
